Ready-to-game desktop

The Velztorm Erebix ships as a complete gaming desktop with Windows 10 Pro installed. A quad-core AMD Ryzen 3 3100 processor and GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics card provide the compute and render power for modern titles at high settings. Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR4 memory and a 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD give ample space for games and multitasking.

Front-panel connectivity

The black chassis offers two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, a USB 3.2 Type-C Gen1 port and an HDMI output for quick peripheral access. Wired Ethernet and 802.11n Wi-Fi handle network connections without extra adapters. Separate microphone and headphone jacks sit alongside the USB ports for headset convenience.

Air-cooled thermal balance

A 750W power supply feeds the CPU, GPU and system components while an air cooler manages processor heat. The RTX 3060 Ti draws power through the PCIe 4.0 interface and its 8GB GDDR6 frame buffer. In typical gaming loads the system runs within the supply headroom and the cooler keeps temperatures steady.

Questions about this item

What does the PCIe 4.0 interface on the RTX 3060 Ti cap in practice?

The GeForce RTX 3060 Ti uses a PCIe 4.0 x16 link, so the graphics card runs at its full 4.0 bandwidth when installed in a compatible motherboard slot.

What clearance does the 17.5 IN tall chassis need to fit on a desk or shelf?

The desktop measures 8.75 IN wide by 16 IN deep by 17.5 IN high and weighs 20.9 lb, so allow at least that footprint plus a few inches of rear ventilation space.

How is the 512 GB PCIe NVMe SSD installed, and what step do people get wrong?

The drive comes pre-installed in the M.2 slot; the common mistake is forgetting to initialise and format the volume in Windows Disk Management before saving files to it.
