Velztorm Erebix desktop with RTX 3070

This Velztorm Erebix desktop pairs a quad-core Ryzen 3 3100 processor at 3.60 GHz with a GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card. It ships with 16GB of DDR4 memory and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed and the system is powered by a 750W supply.

Suits 1440p gaming; not for heavy multithreaded

The four-core CPU and eight threads handle modern games well, while the RTX 3070 with 8GB GDDR6 delivers strong 1440p frame rates. Buyers who need high core counts for rendering, compilation or virtualisation should consider a different platform.

750W power supply

The 750W unit is the single specification that determines whether the graphics card and CPU combination can run stably under full load. Verify that this wattage matches the power requirements of any future GPU upgrade you may plan.

Questions about this item

What PCIe generation does the RTX 3070 use and what bandwidth ceiling does that impose?

The RTX 3070 connects through PCIe 4.0, so the graphics card can reach the full 16 GT/s lane speed when the motherboard also supports PCIe 4.0.

What are the case dimensions and weight so I can check desk clearance?

The chassis measures 8.75 in wide, 16 in deep and 17.5 in high, and weighs 20.9 lb.

How is Windows 10 Pro activated on this custom build and what step do people miss?

Windows 10 Pro comes pre-installed and activated; the step often missed is connecting to the internet on first boot so the digital licence binds to the hardware.
