Built for 1440p gaming

The Velztorm Erebix desktop pairs a Ryzen 3 3100 four-core processor with a GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card. Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR4 memory and a two-terabyte PCIe NVMe SSD provide capacity for modern titles and fast load times. Windows 11 Pro is installed and the system ships without a monitor.

Graphics card decides fit

The RTX 3070 carries eight gigabytes of GDDR6 memory on a PCIe 4.0 interface and supports DirectX 12. This GPU tier targets 1440p resolution at high refresh rates and is VR ready. If your workload demands more video memory or a newer architecture, this configuration will not meet that requirement.

Suits players upgrading from 1080p

Buyers moving to higher-resolution gaming with a single powerful GPU and ample system memory will find the balance appropriate. Users who need a second graphics card, additional internal drive bays, or a smaller chassis should consider other form factors.

Questions about this item

How does the 3.60 GHz base clock and 3.9 GHz boost of the Ryzen 3 3100 affect gaming frame rates?

The quad-core processor runs at 3.60 GHz with a 3.9 GHz boost, providing enough single-thread speed for modern titles while the RTX 3070 handles the heavy graphics workload.

What does the PCIe 4.0 interface on the RTX 3070 mean for real-world bandwidth?

The graphics card uses a PCIe 4.0 x16 link, so it can saturate the slot’s full throughput without being limited by an older generation bus.

Will the 8.75 x 16 x 17.5 inch case fit on a standard desk shelf?

The chassis measures 8.75 inches wide, 16 inches deep and 17.5 inches high, so check your shelf clearance against those dimensions before ordering.
