Gaming desktop for 1080p and 1440p play

The Velztorm Erebix pairs a quad-core Ryzen 3 3100 with a GeForce RTX 3070, 64GB DDR4 and a 4TB PCIe NVMe SSD. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed. The system targets gamers who want high frame rates at 1080p and solid 1440p performance without stepping up to a higher-tier CPU.

Sustained load behaviour

A 750W supply feeds the GPU and CPU while an air cooler manages the processor. Under extended sessions the four-core chip can become the limiting factor before the graphics card reaches its thermal ceiling, so very long renders or heavy multitasking may throttle earlier than on eight-core or twelve-core platforms.

Deciding specification

The 64GB DDR4 capacity is the single figure that determines fit; it exceeds the needs of almost every current game and leaves headroom for streaming, virtual machines or content creation. Buyers who need more memory slots or a different memory generation should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How much heat and noise does the 750W power supply and air-cooled Ryzen 3 3100 produce during long gaming sessions?

The 750W unit powers the RTX 3070 and 64GB DDR4 under load while the air cooler keeps the 3.60GHz quad-core CPU within safe temperatures.

Which display cable and monitor input do I need to use the GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card?

The card provides one HDMI port so a monitor with an HDMI input and a matching cable are required for video output.

Will my existing USB 2.0 keyboard, mouse and headset work with the front and rear ports on this desktop?

Yes, the system includes four USB 2.0 ports plus two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports and a USB 3.2 Type-C Gen1 port, all backward compatible with USB 2.0 devices.
