Velztorm Pilum Gaming Desktop

This Velztorm Pilum desktop arrives as a new gaming system built around an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X eight-core processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics card. It includes 32GB of DDR4 memory, a 1TB SATA SSD paired with a 1TB hard drive, and Windows 10 Pro pre-installed. A 750W power supply and a 120mm AIO liquid cooler with RGB lighting complete the core hardware.

Suited for 1080p and 1440p gaming

The RTX 3060 Ti with 8GB GDDR6 memory delivers solid frame rates at 1080p and 1440p resolutions, while the eight-core Ryzen 7 3700X handles streaming and multitasking. Buyers who want higher refresh rates at 4K or who need more than 32GB of RAM for heavy content creation should look at a different configuration.

Graphics card defines the ceiling

The GeForce RTX 3060 Ti is the single component that sets the performance limit for modern titles. Its 8GB GDDR6 frame buffer and PCIe 4.0 interface determine which settings and resolutions remain playable, so match this card to your monitor and game library before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 32 GB DDR4 configuration or step up to 64 GB?

The 32 GB DDR4 DIMM kit covers current games and multitasking; moving to 64 GB helps only if you run heavy content-creation workloads.

What frame rates can the RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB GDDR6 deliver in a real build?

The RTX 3060 Ti with 8 GB GDDR6 targets high-refresh 1080p and solid 1440p gaming in modern titles.

Does the USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-C port run at 10 Gbit/s or is it limited to 5 Gbit/s?

USB 3.1 Gen1 is specified at 5 Gbit/s, so the Type-C port caps at that speed.
