Velztorm Ferrux Ryzen 9 5900X Desktop

This Velztorm Ferrux desktop is a pre-built gaming and entertainment system centred on a 12-core AMD Ryzen 9 5900X processor running at 3.70 GHz with a 4.8 GHz boost. It ships with 32 GB of DDR4 memory, a 1 TB SATA SSD and an 8 GB GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card. Windows 10 Pro is installed and a 750 W power supply powers the components.

Suited to 1080p gaming and multitasking.

The 12-core CPU and 32 GB of DDR4 handle modern games at 1080p and keep background tasks smooth for streamers or content creators. The RTX 3050 with 8 GB of GDDR6 covers DirectX 12 Ultimate titles at high settings on a single monitor. Buyers who need higher frame rates at 1440p or 4K, or who want faster storage performance than a SATA SSD provides, should look at a different configuration.

1 TB SATA SSD sets storage speed ceiling

The single 1 TB SATA SSD determines how quickly the operating system, games and applications load. SATA throughput limits large-file transfers and level streaming compared with faster interfaces. If your workflow depends on rapid sequential reads or writes, this drive specification is the deciding factor.
