Velztorm Vertix Mini Tower Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm Vertix is a pre-built mini-tower gaming desktop that ships with Windows 10 Pro installed. It centres on an eight-core Ryzen 7 5800X processor paired with a GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 memory and a one-terabyte SATA SSD complete the core specification.

Suits 1080p and 1440p players not large storage

This system suits gamers targeting high frame rates at 1080p or 1440p resolution with a single graphics card. Builders who need multiple 3.5-inch drive bays, a larger motherboard form factor or support for quad-channel memory should look at a full-tower platform instead.

Eight-core Ryzen 7 5800X processor at 3.80

The processor provides eight cores with a 3.80 GHz base frequency and a 4.7 GHz maximum boost alongside 32 megabytes of L3 cache. This core count and clock range determine whether the PC can handle modern game engines and simultaneous streaming workloads.

Questions about this item

Which RAM capacity and storage size should I choose for this Vertix build?

The system ships with 16 GB DDR4 memory and a 1 TB SATA SSD; configurable options include 32 GB or 64 GB DDR4 and SSD capacities of 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, 1 TB or 2 TB, plus optional 1 TB or 2 TB hard drives.

What does the 4.7 GHz boost clock on the Ryzen 7 5800X deliver in daily use?

The 8-core processor reaches 4.7 GHz under load, giving strong single-thread speed for gaming and quick multi-thread throughput for streaming or content creation.

How does the PCIe 4.0 link on the RTX 3070 affect real-world bandwidth?

The graphics card uses a PCIe 4.0 x16 connection, providing up to 32 GT/s per lane so the 8 GB GDDR6 frame buffer is fed without bottleneck at 1440p or 4K.
