Velztorm Ferrux Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm Ferrux is a pre-built gaming desktop featuring an AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-core processor, 32GB DDR4 memory, 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card with 8GB GDDR6. It ships with Windows 10 Pro and a 750W power supply.

Installation and Common Issues

The system arrives fully assembled and configured, so no internal installation is required. The manufacturer opens the box to install upgrades and test components before shipping. Buyers who want to add storage or memory later must verify motherboard slot availability themselves.

Deciding Specification

The 750W power supply is the single specification that determines whether this build can support future graphics card upgrades. High-end GPUs often demand more power than this unit provides, limiting expansion options.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the Ryzen 9 5900X is boosting to 4.8 GHz and the RTX 3070 is running at full PCIe 4.0 speed after assembly?

Open Task Manager's Performance tab to confirm the CPU hits 4.8 GHz under load and check GPU-Z to see the RTX 3070 operating on a PCIe 4.0 x16 link.

Which accessories are included in the box and which must be purchased separately for this desktop?

The system ships with a 750W power supply, 240mm AIO liquid cooler, Windows 10 Pro licence, Wi-Fi antenna and power cord; you must add a monitor, keyboard and mouse.

Should I choose the 16 GB, 32 GB, 64 GB or 128 GB DDR4 option for the Ferrux?

The 32 GB DDR4 configuration suits 1440p gaming and streaming; step up to 64 GB or 128 GB only if you run heavy content-creation workloads.
