Built for high-frame-rate gaming

The Velztorm Ferrux desktop pairs a 12-core AMD Ryzen 9 5900X processor with a Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card carrying 16GB GDDR6 memory. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 system memory and a 4TB PCIe NVMe SSD provide capacity for large game libraries and multitasking. Windows 10 Home is pre-installed on the 750W-powered system.

Connectivity limited to 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi

The wireless adapter supports 802.11b/g/n only, so throughput will be lower than on modern 802.11ax or 802.11ac networks. A wired Ethernet RJ-45 port is available for stable low-latency play. Video output relies on one HDMI and one DisplayPort connector from the graphics card.

Upgrades from 8-core CPUs and smaller SSDs

Builders moving up from an 8-core processor gain the 12-core 5900X with 64MB L3 cache for heavier streaming or compile workloads. The 4TB NVMe drive replaces 1TB or 2TB boot volumes that fill quickly with modern titles. The jump is worth it when both CPU threads and storage space are daily bottlenecks.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 16GB, 32GB, 64GB or 128GB DDR4 option?

Choose 16GB DDR4 for standard gaming, 32GB DDR4 for heavy multitasking or streaming, 64GB DDR4 for content creation workloads, and 128GB DDR4 only if your professional applications specifically demand that capacity.

What does the 4.8 GHz boost clock on the Ryzen 9 5900X deliver in actual use?

The 12-core processor reaches 4.8 GHz on lightly threaded tasks such as game logic or compilation bursts, while sustained all-core workloads settle at lower clocks within the 750W power envelope.

How does the 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi limit my network speed?

The 802.11b/g/n adapter caps wireless throughput at legacy rates, so gigabit internet or low-latency gaming will require the wired RJ-45 Ethernet connection instead.
