Core configuration

The Velztorm Ferrux II is a pre-built desktop PC centred on an Intel Core i9-12900K processor with 16 cores and 24 threads. It pairs that CPU with 64GB of DDR4 memory and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD. Graphics are handled by a GeForce RTX 3050 card equipped with 8GB of GDDR6 memory.

Who this suits

This system targets buyers who want strong multi-threaded CPU performance and a large memory capacity in a ready-to-use Windows 10 Pro machine. Users who require a higher-tier graphics card for demanding 3D workloads or who prefer a smaller chassis should consider alternative platforms.

Deciding specification

The installed GPU is a GeForce RTX 3050 with 8GB GDDR6 and a WINDFORCE 3X cooler. That graphics card defines the practical ceiling for gaming resolution and creative GPU tasks, making it the single specification that determines whether this build matches the buyer's workload.

Questions about this item

How does the i9-12900K's 5.2 GHz boost translate to actual gaming frame rates?

The 16-core, 24-thread processor reaches 5.2 GHz on its performance cores, giving strong single-thread speed for high frame rates in CPU-bound titles while the 30 MB cache helps keep data close to the cores.

What does the RTX 3050's PCIe 4.0 x8 link mean for bandwidth in this desktop?

The laptop-class RTX 3050 uses a PCIe 4.0 x8 connection, so it runs at up to 16 GT/s per lane; the eight lanes provide enough throughput for the 8 GB GDDR6 frame buffer at 1080p settings.

Will the 240 mm AIO and 750 W power supply fit in the 8.1 x 15 x 17.9 inch chassis?

Yes — the case is designed around the 240 mm liquid cooler and 750 W unit, so both components are already installed and cleared for airflow inside the stated dimensions.
