Processor and graphics

The Velztorm Ferrux II is a new gaming desktop built around an Intel Core i9-12900K processor with 16 cores and 24 threads reaching 5.2 GHz. A GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card with 8GB GDDR6 memory provides DirectX 12 Ultimate support and VR-ready performance. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed.

Memory and storage headroom

64GB of DDR4 DIMM memory and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD give ample space for modern titles and multitasking workloads. The single solid-state drive leaves no mechanical storage for bulk archives, so users with large media libraries will need external or network drives.

Build integration

A 750W power supply drives the components while a 240mm AIO liquid cooler manages CPU thermals. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6 AX200, Bluetooth 5.1 and a 2.5Gbps RJ-45 port. Front I/O provides four USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.2 Type-C port and a headphone/microphone combo jack; the graphics card offers a DisplayPort output. No monitor is included.

Questions about this item

Will my existing DisplayPort monitor plug straight into the RTX 3070?

The RTX 3070 provides a DisplayPort output, so a current DisplayPort monitor connects directly without an adapter.

How can I verify the i9-12900K and RTX 3070 are performing correctly after first boot?

Open Task Manager to confirm 16 cores and 24 threads are recognised, then run a GPU benchmark to check the RTX 3070 reports 8 GB GDDR6 and DirectX 12 Ultimate support.

What accessories come in the box and what must I supply myself?

The system ships with Windows 11 Pro, a 750 W power supply, 240 mm AIO liquid cooler, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1; you must provide a monitor, keyboard, mouse and any display cable.
