Processor and cooling

The Velztorm Lux CTO is a white gaming desktop built around a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 5950X processor with 64MB cache and a 3.4GHz base clock that boosts to 4.9GHz. A 360mm AIO liquid cooler handles the thermal output of the high-core-count CPU.

Sustained workload behaviour

The 1000W power supply and liquid cooling allow the processor to maintain elevated frequencies during extended multi-threaded tasks such as rendering or compiling. The GeForce RTX 3050 with 8GB GDDR6 provides stable frame output for 1080p gaming sessions.

Interface and storage limits

The system uses a 1TB SATA SSD for primary storage, limiting sequential transfer rates to the SATA interface ceiling. Wireless connectivity is provided by 802.11ac Wi-Fi, while wired networking uses a standard RJ-45 Ethernet port.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the 360 mm AIO liquid cooler keep the Ryzen 9 5950X when the system runs all day?

The 360 mm AIO liquid cooler is designed to handle the 16-core Ryzen 9 5950X under sustained loads, keeping CPU temperatures lower than an air cooler would while the RGB fans spin at controlled speeds for quieter operation.

Which display cable and monitor port do I need to connect the GeForce RTX 3050 8 GB card?

The graphics card provides one HDMI and one DisplayPort output, so use a matching cable for your monitor's input; no adapter is included in the box.

Will my existing DDR4 memory kits work alongside the 64 GB already installed?

The motherboard uses DDR4 DIMM slots; additional DDR4 modules can be added up to the board's maximum capacity, but mixing speeds or timings may default all sticks to the slowest settings.
