Micro Tower Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm Mini Pilum is a compact gaming desktop built around an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 5700X processor and a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics card with 4GB GDDR5 memory. It ships with 128GB of DDR4 RAM and a dual-drive layout combining a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD with a 2TB 3.5-inch hard drive. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed for immediate use.

Build Integration And Connectivity

The micro tower chassis houses a 750W power supply and a 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler with RGB lighting, leaving the motherboard free for the installed memory and storage. Rear I/O provides one HDMI port, one USB 3.0 Type-A port, four USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, a microphone jack and a headphone jack. Wireless connectivity uses WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 4.2 alongside a wired RJ-45 Ethernet port.

Sustained Load Thermal Behaviour

Under prolonged workloads the 120mm AIO cooler manages heat from the 8-core processor while the 750W unit delivers stable power to the CPU and GTX 1050 Ti. The liquid loop and RGB fans maintain consistent airflow through the micro tower form factor, helping the system sustain clock speeds during extended gaming or multitasking sessions without thermal throttling.

Questions about this item

At what point does the GTX 1050 Ti 4GB GDDR5 frame buffer become the bottleneck in modern titles?

The 4GB GDDR5 on the GTX 1050 Ti fills quickly at 1440p or with high texture packs, forcing texture streaming and lower 1% lows; 1080p medium settings keep most current games playable.

How loud and hot does the 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler get during an all-day gaming session?

The 120mm AIO keeps the Ryzen 7 5700X near its 4.4 GHz boost under sustained load; pump and fan noise rise to an audible but not intrusive level inside the Micro Tower chassis.

Which display cable do I need to connect a monitor to the HDMI port on this system?

A standard HDMI cable plugs directly into the single HDMI output on the GTX 1050 Ti; no adapter is required for any monitor with an HDMI input.
