Gaming desktop for 1080p play

The Velztorm Nix is a white gaming desktop built around a Ryzen 5 5600X six-core processor and a GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card. It ships with 16GB of DDR4 memory, a 4TB PCIe NVMe SSD and Windows 10 Pro. The 750W power supply and air cooler support the included components.

RTX 3050 with 8GB GDDR6

The single specification that decides fit is the graphics card: an RTX 3050 equipped with 8GB of GDDR6 memory on a PCIe 4.0 interface. This combination targets 1080p gaming at medium to high settings and provides DirectX 12 and G-SYNC support. Buyers who need higher frame rates at 1440p or 4K should look elsewhere.

Pre-built with standard connections

The system arrives fully assembled, so installation is limited to plugging in power, display and peripherals. Front and rear I/O includes USB 3.2 Type-C Gen1, USB 3.2 Gen1, three USB 3.0 Type-A ports, four USB 2.0 ports, HDMI, Ethernet and audio jacks. The only common issue is remembering to connect the monitor to the graphics card HDMI rather than the motherboard.
