Velztorm Nix Gaming Desktop Overview

The Velztorm Nix is a pre-built gaming desktop finished in Snow White. It runs a 5th Gen AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-core processor with 32MB cache and a GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card with 8GB GDDR6 memory. The system includes 16GB DDR4 RAM and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD, powered by a 750W supply. Windows 10 Pro is installed and no display is included.

Suited for 1080p Gaming Not for 4K

This desktop suits gamers targeting 1080p resolution with moderate settings and creators needing a ready-to-use workstation. It is not for players who want 4K gaming, high refresh-rate esports performance, or workloads that demand more than 16GB of memory. Buyers requiring built-in Wi-Fi or Bluetooth should also look elsewhere as the board provides only wired Ethernet.

2TB PCIe NVMe SSD Decides Storage Fit

The single specification that decides fit is the 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD. It determines whether the available space matches the game library, media cache, or project files you plan to store. If 2TB is insufficient you will need to add drives yourself; if it is excessive a smaller drive would cost less. No other figure in the spec sheet gates the purchase decision as directly.

Questions about this item

What monitor cable do I need to connect the HDMI port on the RTX 3050?

Use any standard HDMI cable; the card provides one HDMI output that carries both video and audio to a compatible display.

Will my existing DDR4 memory modules work alongside the installed 16 GB DDR4?

Yes, the board uses DDR4 DIMM slots, so additional DDR4 sticks of matching speed can be added if free slots are available.

How can I verify the Ryzen 5 5600X is reaching its 4.6 GHz boost clock under load?

Open Task Manager's Performance tab or a tool like HWMonitor while running a demanding game; the CPU frequency should show speeds up to 4.6 GHz when thermal headroom allows.
