Velztorm Nix Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm Nix is a white desktop PC built around a six-core Ryzen 5 5600X processor clocked at 3.70 GHz with a 4.6 GHz boost. It ships with 64 GB of DDR4 memory and a 1 TB PCIe NVMe solid-state drive. A GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card with 8 GB of GDDR6 memory drives the display outputs. Windows 10 Pro comes pre-installed and a 750 W power supply feeds the system.

Pre-installed Windows 10 Pro and 64 GB DDR4

Windows 10 Pro is ready to use out of the box, removing the need for a separate licence or clean install. The 64 GB DDR4 DIMM configuration provides a large memory pool for multitasking and content-creation workloads without additional purchases. The RTX 3050 includes WINDFORCE 3X cooling and supports DirectX 12 and G-SYNC for compatible monitors. Component brands may vary from the images shown.

Straightforward setup with air cooling

The system uses an air-cooled CPU cooler and a standard ATX power supply, so no liquid-cooling maintenance is required. Simply connect power, a display via HDMI, and peripherals using the available USB 3.2 Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen1, USB 3.0 Type-A, and USB 2.0 ports. The chassis measures 8.75 by 15.75 by 17.5 inches and weighs 22.5 lb, so verify desk space before unboxing. Buyers who need built-in Wi-Fi or Bluetooth will need to add a separate adapter.

Questions about this item

How often will the air-cooling CPU cooler need cleaning or replacement?

The CPU cooler uses air cooling with no service interval specified; dust the heatsink and fan when they look dirty and replace the fan only if it becomes noisy or stops spinning.

Which component hits its limit first during long gaming sessions, the 750W power supply or the RTX 3050 8GB GDDR6?

The RTX 3050 8GB GDDR6 will reach its performance ceiling before the 750W power supply becomes a bottleneck.

What noise and heat levels should I expect from the 750W supply and WINDFORCE 3X GPU cooler when the system runs all day?

The 750W supply and WINDFORCE 3X cooler run quietly at idle; under sustained load the GPU fans spin up noticeably while case temperatures stay moderate thanks to the 8.75 x 15.75 x 17.5 in chassis airflow.
