Velztorm Nix Gaming Desktop PC

The Velztorm Nix is a pre-built gaming desktop powered by a 6-core AMD Ryzen 5 5600X processor and a GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card with 8GB GDDR6 memory. It ships with 64GB of DDR4 RAM and a 2TB SATA SSD for fast storage. Windows 10 Home comes installed, making it ready for gaming and content creation out of the box.

Air Cooling CPU Cooler and 750W Power Supply

An air cooling CPU cooler manages processor thermals while the graphics card uses a WINDFORCE 3X cooling solution. The system draws power from a 750W power supply unit. Under normal loads the combined cooling keeps temperatures in check without excessive fan noise, and the power supply provides headroom for the installed components.

Snow White Chassis with USB 3.2 Type-C

The white desktop case measures 8.75 IN wide by 15.75 IN deep by 17.5 IN high and weighs 22.5lb. It offers 3 USB 3.0 Type-A ports, a USB 3.2 Gen1 port, a USB 3.2 Type-C Gen1 port, four USB 2.0 ports, one HDMI output, Ethernet LAN and separate microphone and headphone jacks. No optical drive is fitted, freeing internal space for airflow and future storage upgrades.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 2TB SATA SSD and which step do people get wrong?

The 2TB SATA SSD is already installed and configured in the Velztorm Nix desktop. The step people get wrong is opening the case and reconnecting the SATA data or power cables, which can prevent the drive from being detected on first boot.

What maintenance or replacement will the air cooling CPU cooler need later?

The air cooling CPU cooler on the Ryzen 5 5600X will need dust removal from the heatsink and fan every few months, and the thermal paste should be reapplied after several years if temperatures rise under sustained loads.

What limit shows up first on the GeForce RTX 3050 under sustained use?

The 8GB GDDR6 frame buffer on the GeForce RTX 3050 fills first in modern titles at 1440p, forcing texture streaming or resolution scaling before the GPU core reaches its thermal ceiling.
