Snow White Ryzen 5 Desktop

The Velztorm Nix is a white gaming desktop built around a six-core AMD Ryzen 5 5600X processor clocked at 3.70 GHz with a 4.6 GHz boost. It ships with 32GB of DDR4 memory, a 512GB SATA SSD and a Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card with 16GB GDDR6. Windows 10 Home is pre-installed.

DirectX 12 Ultimate Graphics

The bundled Radeon RX 6900 XT adds DirectX 12 Ultimate support, AMD FreeSync and Radeon Anti-Lag to the system. These features reduce screen tearing and input latency in compatible titles without extra software installation. The 16GB GDDR6 frame buffer handles high-resolution textures and multi-monitor workloads.

Air-Cooled Chassis Connectivity

An air-cooled CPU cooler and a 750W power supply keep thermals stable inside the white chassis. Rear I/O provides one HDMI port, three USB 3.0 Type-A, one USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, one USB 3.2 Type-C Gen1, four USB 2.0 ports, a Gigabit Ethernet jack and separate headphone and microphone jacks for daily peripheral use.

Questions about this item

Will the 512 GB SATA SSD need replacing if I add more games later?

The 512 GB SATA SSD is the only drive installed; you can add another SATA SSD or a mechanical hard drive using the spare bays and cables inside the chassis.

What thermal limit appears first when the Ryzen 5 5600X and Radeon RX 6900 XT run flat out?

The 750 W power supply and the single air cooler must dissipate the combined load of a 6-core CPU boosting to 4.6 GHz and a 16 GB GDDR6 graphics card, so case airflow becomes the limiting factor.

How loud and hot does the system get when it runs all day?

The included air cooler handles the 5600X at stock speeds, but the RX 6900 XT moves significant heat; expect noticeable fan noise and warm exhaust after extended sessions.
