Ryzen 5 5600X Desktop

This Velztorm Nix system pairs a six-core AMD Ryzen 5 5600X processor running at 3.70 GHz with a boost up to 4.6 GHz and 32 MB L3 cache with 64 GB DDR4 memory and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card. It ships with Windows 10 Home and a 750 W power supply in a white chassis.

Upgrade from 16 GB or 32 GB DDR4

The 64 GB DDR4 capacity replaces smaller 16 GB or 32 GB kits and removes memory pressure when running games alongside streaming, recording or browser-heavy workloads. The jump is worth it when multitasking regularly exceeds 32 GB committed memory or when content-creation projects demand larger buffers.

1 TB SATA SSD capacity and headroom

A 1 TB SATA SSD holds the operating system, a core library of modern titles and active project files with room for several large games at once. It runs out when the library expands beyond the drive or when sustained write workloads exceed SATA throughput, requiring a secondary drive.

Questions about this item

What clearance does the air-cooled CPU cooler need inside a Snow White case?

The system uses an air cooling CPU cooler in a white desktop chassis; allow several centimetres above the motherboard for the heatsink and front-to-back airflow so the 750W power supply and RTX 3070 exhaust can move heat out without recirculation.

Which cable do I plug the monitor into so the RTX 3070 drives the display?

Connect the display to the graphics card’s HDMI port, not the motherboard video output, otherwise the Ryzen 5 5600X integrated graphics will be used and the 8GB GDDR6 GPU will sit idle.

When the 1TB SATA SSD fills up, what drive can I add without changing cables?

The chassis supports an additional 2.5-inch SATA SSD or 3.5-inch hard drive using the spare SATA data and power connectors already routed from the 750W unit.
