Velztorm Nix Snow White Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm Nix Snow White is a pre-built gaming desktop finished in white. It ships with Windows 10 Pro and a 750W power supply. The system targets players who want a ready-to-use machine for high-refresh 1440p or entry 4K gaming without assembling parts themselves.

Upgrading from older mid-range builds

This configuration replaces an ageing CPU and GPU combination with a 6-core Ryzen 5 5600X processor and a Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card. The jump is worth it when your current rig struggles to hold 60 frames per second in modern titles at 1440p or when you need 16GB GDDR6 video memory for texture-heavy workloads.

16GB DDR4 and 512GB SATA SSD capacity

The 16GB DDR4 memory handles current games and multitasking comfortably, while the 512GB SATA SSD stores the operating system and a modest library. Storage headroom runs out quickly with large AAA titles, so a secondary drive becomes necessary for extensive collections. The 750W unit powers the included components with adequate overhead.

Questions about this item

What motherboard form factor and power supply rating does the Velztorm Nix chassis accept?

The system uses a 750 W power supply and a standard desktop form factor; the motherboard follows the ATX layout built into the Snow White case.

How is the air-cooling CPU cooler mounted on the Ryzen 5 5600X, and what step do builders often miss?

The cooler attaches to the AM4 retention bracket with spring screws; the step often missed is removing the protective film from the cooler base before securing it.

Which components in this desktop will need replacement or upgrade first, and what specifications must the new parts meet?

The 512 GB SATA SSD and 16 GB DDR4 DIMM are the usual upgrade targets; replacements must be 2.5-inch SATA drives and DDR4 memory modules respectively.
