System overview

This Velztorm Nix desktop is a white gaming PC built around a 6-core Ryzen 5 5600X processor and an RTX 3060 Ti graphics card with 8GB GDDR6 memory. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 RAM and a 1TB SATA SSD provide the memory and storage foundation. Windows 10 Home is pre-installed and a 750W power supply drives the components.

Compatibility check

Verify that your monitor has an HDMI input to match the single HDMI port on the graphics card. The motherboard offers USB 3.2 Gen1, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 Type-A ports plus a USB 3.2 Type-C Gen1 connector for peripherals. Wired networking uses the onboard RJ-45 Ethernet jack; there is no built-in Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. The chassis uses air cooling for the CPU.

Thermals and power

The 750W unit supplies ample headroom for the 6-core CPU and the RTX 3060 Ti under typical gaming loads. Air cooling keeps the processor at safe temperatures while the GPU cooler exhausts heat into the case. Fan noise remains moderate during normal play sessions and rises only under sustained heavy workloads. Power draw scales with the demands of the running title.

Questions about this item

Does the Velztorm Nix come with a keyboard and mouse, or must they be bought separately?

The system ships as a desktop tower only; no keyboard or mouse is included in the box, so you will need to supply your own.

Which storage option should I pick between the 1 TB SATA SSD and the larger 2 TB SATA SSD?

The 1 TB SATA SSD holds the operating system and a solid game library; choose the 2 TB SATA SSD if you install many large titles or keep local media collections.

What frame rates can I expect from the RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB GDDR6 at 1440p in current games?

The RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB GDDR6 delivers high-refresh 1440p performance in most modern titles with settings turned up, supported by DirectX 12 Ultimate.
