Ready-to-game white desktop

The Velztorm Nix Snow White arrives as a complete gaming desktop with a 6-core Ryzen 5 5600X processor, 64GB of DDR4 memory and a Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card with 16GB GDDR6. A 512GB SATA SSD holds the operating system and core titles. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed and a 750W power supply runs the build.

Step up from entry systems

This configuration replaces a basic office PC or a first self-build that used integrated graphics and 16GB of memory. The jump is worth it when you need 4.6 GHz boost clocks, 32MB L3 cache and DirectX 12 Ultimate support for modern titles at high settings. The 64GB DDR4 kit also removes the usual memory ceiling for content creation workloads.

Build context and expansion

Air cooling handles the CPU while the 750W unit feeds the graphics card and leaves headroom for extra drives. Front and rear I/O includes USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, three USB 3.0 Type-A, four USB 2.0, HDMI, Ethernet LAN and analogue audio jacks. No wireless or Bluetooth is fitted, so a wired network or add-in card is required.

Questions about this item

What case clearance is needed for the Radeon RX 6900 XT 16GB GDDR6 graphics card?

The Radeon RX 6900 XT is a full-length dual-slot card; measure your chassis length and ensure at least two adjacent expansion slots are free.

How is the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X installed, and what step is often missed?

The CPU is pre-installed with an air cooler; the step users miss is removing the protective plastic film from the cooler base before first power-on.

What maintenance does the 750W power supply require over time?

Clean dust from the PSU intake grill every 6–12 months using compressed air; the unit has no user-serviceable parts inside.
