Ryzen 5 5600X desktop

The Velztorm Nix is a white desktop PC built around a 6-core Ryzen 5 5600X processor running at 3.70 GHz with a 4.6 GHz boost and 32 MB cache. It ships with 64 GB of DDR4 memory, a 2 TB SATA SSD and a Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card with 16 GB GDDR6. Windows 10 Home is pre-installed and the system is powered by a 750 W supply.

Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics

The graphics card adds DirectX 12 Ultimate support, AMD FreeSync and Radeon Anti-Lag for smoother frame pacing. Connectivity includes one HDMI port, three USB 3.0 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, one USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C, four USB 2.0 ports, plus headphone and microphone jacks. A wired Ethernet port provides network access.

64 GB DDR4 and 2 TB SATA

The 64 GB DDR4 capacity handles heavy multitasking and large project files without paging. The 2 TB SATA SSD offers ample room for game libraries and media, though sequential speeds are limited by the SATA interface. The 750 W power supply supports the current configuration; adding further high-power components would require a larger unit.

Questions about this item

Will the air-cooled CPU cooler need replacement or servicing later?

The system ships with an air-cooled CPU cooler; under normal use it requires only occasional dust removal and no scheduled replacement.

What limits the Radeon RX 6900 XT first during sustained loads?

The 16 GB GDDR6 frame buffer fills before the GPU compute units saturate, so texture-heavy 4K workloads hit VRAM capacity first.

How much heat and noise does the 750 W power supply add when the PC runs all day?

The 750 W unit powers the 6-core 3.70 GHz Ryzen 5 5600X and RX 6900 XT within its rating, so fan speed stays moderate and case temperatures remain stable.
