Velztorm Orix i9-12900K gaming desktop

This Velztorm Orix desktop pairs a 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900K with 16GB DDR5 memory and a GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card. The 850W power supply and 360mm AIO liquid CPU cooler support sustained operation in a black chassis. It ships with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit installed on a 1TB PCIe SSD.

GeForce RTX 3050 8GB GDDR6 graphics

The single specification that determines suitability is the GeForce RTX 3050 with 8GB GDDR6 memory on a PCIe 4.0 interface. This card targets 1080p gaming and entry-level creative workloads rather than high-refresh 1440p or 4K play. Buyers needing more VRAM or higher raster performance should look elsewhere.

360mm AIO liquid cooling under load

The 360mm AIO liquid CPU cooler and 850W power supply are designed to manage heat from the 16-core, 24-thread i9-12900K during extended sessions. The 30MB L3 cache and DDR5 4800MHz memory help sustain throughput when all cores remain active. Thermal headroom depends on case airflow and ambient temperature.

Questions about this item

What does the i9-12900K's 5.2 GHz boost mean for actual gaming and heavy workloads?

The 16-core, 24-thread processor hits 5.2 GHz on its eight performance cores, giving strong single-thread speed for games while the efficient cores handle background tasks without slowing the main threads.

How does the PCIe 4.0 link affect the RTX 3050's 8 GB GDDR6 in this desktop?

The graphics card runs on a PCIe 4.0 x16 connection, so the 8 GB GDDR6 frame buffer feeds the GPU at full bus speed without the bandwidth ceiling seen on older 3.0 platforms.

What space and power does the 360 mm AIO liquid cooler require inside the chassis?

The 850 W supply powers the pump and three fans, while the 360 mm radiator needs a triple-fan mounting area and clearance for tubing and fittings.
