Gaming desktop for 4K content creation

The Velztorm Orix is a new gaming desktop built around a 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900K processor with 16 cores and 24 threads. It ships with 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB SATA SSD. Windows 10 Home 64-bit is pre-installed. The system targets creators and gamers who need high multi-thread performance in a ready-to-use tower.

GeForce RTX 3050 with 8GB GDDR6

The graphics card is a GeForce RTX 3050 equipped with 8GB of GDDR6 memory on a PCIe 4.0 interface. It supports DirectX 12 and G-SYNC. This GPU decides whether the system suits your workload; it handles 1080p gaming and entry-level creative tasks but will limit 4K frame rates in modern titles. Buyers who need higher 4K throughput should consider a different graphics tier.

850W power supply and 360mm liquid cooling

An 850W power supply feeds the CPU and GPU while a 360mm AIO liquid cooler manages thermals for the 12900K. Connectivity includes 2.5Gbps RJ-45 Ethernet, 802.11 a/b/n/ac/ax Wi-Fi, HDMI, DisplayPort, USB 3.2 Type-C Gen2 and multiple USB Type-A ports. No display, webcam or optical drive is included. The chassis uses a black finish with RGB lighting.

Questions about this item

What does the i9-12900K's 5.2 GHz boost mean for actual gaming workloads?

The processor reaches 5.2 GHz on its performance cores, giving strong single-thread speed for game logic while the 16 cores and 24 threads handle background tasks and streaming simultaneously.

How does the RTX 3050's PCIe 4.0 x8 interface affect real-world throughput?

The card uses a PCIe 4.0 x8 link, so it runs at full Gen 4 bandwidth on this platform; the 8 GB GDDR6 frame buffer and x8 electrical width set the practical ceiling for texture streaming and compute workloads.

What clearance does the 360 mm AIO liquid cooler require inside the chassis?

The 360 mm radiator fits standard triple-fan mounting points on the top or front panel; the 850 W power supply sits in the bottom chamber leaving the radiator area unobstructed for tubing and pump clearance.
