Velztorm Orix i9-12900K desktop

The Velztorm Orix is a new gaming desktop built around a 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900K processor with 16 cores and 24 threads. It ships with 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 2TB SATA solid-state drive. An 850W power supply and a 360mm AIO liquid cooler support the high-performance CPU.

Ideal for high-thread workloads, limited GPU budget

This system suits users who need maximum CPU throughput for rendering, compilation or multitasking while accepting entry-level graphics performance. Buyers who want more storage or a faster graphics card for modern AAA titles should look at a different configuration.

RTX 3050 8GB GDDR6 graphics card

The installed GeForce RTX 3050 provides 8GB of GDDR6 video memory and connects via PCIe 4.0. It supports DirectX 12 and G-SYNC. This single specification determines whether the graphical performance meets your gaming or creative requirements.

Questions about this item

What case clearance does the 360mm AIO liquid CPU cooler require?

The system includes a 360mm AIO liquid CPU cooler with RGB lighting; verify your chassis supports a 360mm radiator and sufficient clearance for tubing and pump placement.

How is the GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card installed, and what step is often missed?

The RTX 3050 is factory-installed in a PCIe 4.0 slot with WINDFORCE 3X cooling; the step often missed is connecting the required GPU power cables from the 850W supply before first boot.

Which storage drive will need replacement first and what type does it use?

The 2TB SATA SSD is the primary storage; as a SATA drive it will eventually wear from write cycles and should be replaced with another 2.5-inch SATA SSD when health monitoring indicates end of life.
