Purpose-built gaming desktop

The Velztorm Orix is a pre-built gaming desktop built around a 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900K processor with 16 cores and 24 threads. It pairs that CPU with a Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card carrying 16GB of GDDR6 memory. The system ships with Windows 10 Home 64-bit installed and includes 16GB of DDR5 RAM plus a 2TB SATA SSD for storage.

Thermals and power

A 360mm AIO liquid CPU cooler with RGB lighting handles processor heat while the 850W power supply feeds the complete build. The Radeon RX 6900 XT operates within the chassis airflow provided by the factory assembly. The 2.5Gbps RJ-45 port and 802.11 a/b/n/ac/ax Wi-Fi deliver wired and wireless connectivity without extra hardware.

Build integration

The desktop arrives fully assembled in a black chassis weighing 36lb, so no component installation is required. Front and rear I/O includes two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, two USB 3.1 Gen2 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.1 Type-C Gen2 port, one USB 3.2 Type-C Gen2 port, HDMI, DisplayPort, and separate microphone and headphone jacks. The 2TB SATA SSD occupies one drive slot, leaving additional bays open for future storage expansion. Buyers who need a second graphics card or more than 16GB of memory should verify motherboard layout before ordering.

Questions about this item

How is the 360mm AIO liquid CPU cooler installed on the i9-12900K, and what step is often missed?

The cooler arrives pre-installed on the processor; the step often missed is connecting the pump power cable and the three radiator fan headers to the motherboard so the AIO runs at full speed.

What maintenance or replacement will the 360mm AIO liquid CPU cooler need later?

The sealed loop requires no fluid changes; plan to clean dust from the radiator fins and replace the three fans if they become noisy, typically after several years of continuous use.

What limit appears first on the i9-12900K under sustained load with the 360mm AIO?

The 850W power supply caps total system draw, so prolonged all-core workloads at 5.2 GHz will hit the PSU limit before the liquid cooler reaches thermal saturation.
