Velztorm Pilum Gaming Desktop

This Velztorm Pilum desktop is a pre-built gaming system centred on an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-core processor running at 3.6 GHz with a 4.4 GHz boost. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4 memory, a 1 TB SATA SSD paired with a 2 TB hard drive, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics card. A 750 W power supply and Windows 10 Pro complete the package.

Suitable for 1080p gaming and multitasking

The 8-core CPU and 16 GB of RAM handle mainstream games at 1080p and everyday productivity workloads. The GTX 1050 Ti provides 4 GB of GDDR5 video memory for DirectX 12 titles. Builders who need more than 4 GB of video memory for modern AAA textures or who require Bluetooth connectivity should look at other configurations.

GTX 1050 Ti 4 GB GDDR5 graphics card

The installed GTX 1050 Ti comes with 4 GB of GDDR5 memory and supports DirectX 12. This single specification determines whether the system can run the games and applications you have in mind at acceptable settings.

Questions about this item

When will the 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler need its coolant checked or the pump replaced?

The closed-loop 120mm AIO cooler is sealed at the factory and does not require coolant top-ups. Pump life varies with load, but most units run several years before any service is needed.

Which component hits its thermal ceiling first during long gaming sessions?

The GTX 1050 Ti 4GB GDDR5 card typically reaches its power and temperature limit before the Ryzen 7 3700X, so GPU clocks will throttle first under sustained load.

How loud and hot does the system get when it runs all day?

The 120mm AIO keeps the Ryzen 7 3700X near 3.6 GHz base clock with moderate fan noise, while the 750W supply and GTX 1050 Ti add warm exhaust but stay within normal desktop sound levels.
