Ready-to-game desktop

The Velztorm Pilum arrives as a complete Windows 10 Home system built around an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X eight-core processor. Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR4 memory and a 512GB SATA solid-state drive paired with a 2TB hard drive provide space for games and media. A GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics card drives the display outputs.

Suits 1080p starters, not 4K enthusiasts

This configuration suits players targeting 1080p resolution with moderate detail settings and streamers who need multi-core CPU performance for encoding. Buyers who want more storage than the supplied 512GB SSD and 2TB HDD combination, or who need a higher-tier graphics card for 1440p or 4K gaming, should look at other systems.

GTX 1050 Ti 4GB GDDR5 decides the tier

The installed GeForce GTX 1050 Ti with 4GB of GDDR5 memory sets the performance ceiling for every 3D workload. If the target games or applications demand more video memory or compute throughput than this card delivers, the rest of the specification cannot compensate.
