Velztorm Pilum desktop with Ryzen 7 3700X

This Velztorm Pilum is a pre-built gaming desktop aimed at players who want a ready-to-run Windows 10 Pro system. It pairs an 8-core Ryzen 7 3700X processor with 32GB of DDR4 memory and a GTX 1660 Super graphics card. The 750W power supply and 120mm AIO liquid cooler support sustained loads during long sessions.

Suits 1080p gamers and streamers.

The GTX 1660 Super with 6GB GDDR6 handles mainstream titles at 1080p and supports VR Ready, G-SYNC and DirectX 12. Builders who need higher frame rates at 1440p or 4K, or workloads that demand more VRAM or newer architecture features, should look at a different graphics tier. The 802.11n Wi-Fi is adequate for basic networking but not for high-throughput wireless needs.

512GB SATA SSD plus 3TB HDD defines the storage

A 512GB SATA SSD provides the boot volume while a 3TB hard drive adds bulk capacity for games and media. The SATA interface on the solid-state drive limits peak transfer rates compared to faster protocols, so buyers who prioritise maximum load speeds should note this constraint. Combined capacity totals 3.5TB across the two drives.

Questions about this item

Will the Velztorm Pilum run my older USB 2.0 keyboard and mouse alongside its USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 ports?

Yes, the system provides four USB 2.0 ports plus five USB 3.0 Type-A ports, one USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-A port and one USB 3.1 Type-C Gen1 port, so legacy USB 2.0 devices work directly without adapters.

How can I verify the GTX 1660 Super is active after I power on the Velztorm Pilum?

Open Windows Device Manager or the NVIDIA Control Panel; both will list GeForce GTX 1660 Super with 6GB GDDR6, confirming the discrete GPU is recognised and driving the HDMI or DisplayPort output.

What components arrive in the Velztorm Pilum box and what must I supply myself?

The desktop includes the Ryzen 7 3700X system with 32GB DDR4, 512GB SATA SSD, 3TB HDD, GTX 1660 Super, 750W power supply, 120mm AIO liquid cooler, Windows 10 Pro, Wi-Fi and all listed USB, HDMI and DisplayPort connections; you only need to add a monitor, keyboard and mouse.
