Ready-built gaming desktop

The Velztorm Pilum is a pre-assembled Windows 10 Pro desktop aimed at gamers and streamers who want a complete system without selecting individual parts. It pairs an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Super graphics card and 128GB DDR4 memory for high-frame-rate play at 1080p.

Compatibility checklist

Verify that your monitor has an HDMI or DisplayPort input to match the GPU outputs. Confirm your network router supports 802.11n Wi-Fi or provide a wired Ethernet connection for the RJ-45 port. Ensure you have peripherals ready for the USB 3.1 Type-C, USB 3.1 Gen1, five USB 3.0 Type-A and four USB 2.0 ports.

Sustained-load behaviour

A 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler and 750W power supply keep the 3.6 GHz base clock stable during extended sessions, while the 6GB GDDR6 frame buffer on the GTX 1660 Super handles prolonged texture streaming. The 2TB SATA SSD plus 2TB HDD combination maintains consistent read speeds for large game libraries without thermal throttling.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and what must I buy separately?

The system ships as a complete desktop with the Ryzen 7 3700X, 128GB DDR4, 2TB SATA SSD, 2TB HDD, GTX 1660 Super, 750W supply, Windows 10 Pro, 802.11n Wi-Fi, RGB 120mm AIO liquid cooler and the listed USB, HDMI and DisplayPort connections. No monitor, keyboard or mouse are included.

Which RAM and storage configuration should I choose from the listed options?

This unit is already built with the maximum 128GB DDR4 and the 2TB SATA SSD plus 2TB HDD combination. Smaller 16GB, 32GB or 64GB RAM kits and 512GB, 1TB or larger HDD options exist on other listings, but this specific model uses the top capacities shown.

What does the 3.6 GHz to 4.4 GHz Ryzen 7 3700X speed mean for actual gaming and multitasking?

The 8-core processor runs at a 3.6 GHz base clock and can boost to 4.4 GHz when thermal headroom allows, so heavily threaded workloads such as streaming while gaming or video rendering benefit from sustained high frequencies, while lighter titles run efficiently at lower clocks.
