Velztorm Pilum gaming desktop

This Velztorm Pilum system is a pre-built gaming desktop powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X eight-core processor and a GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card. It ships with Windows 10 Pro installed and includes a 750W power supply with a 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler. The configuration targets players who want a ready-to-game tower without assembling parts themselves.

Suits 1080p gamers; not for 4K or heavy production

The RTX 3050 with 8GB GDDR6 handles mainstream titles at 1080p resolution, while the 16GB DDR4 memory and 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD plus 3TB HDD provide responsive loads and ample storage. Buyers who need higher frame rates at 1440p or 4K, or who require more than 16GB RAM for video editing and 3D rendering, should look at a system with a stronger GPU and larger memory capacity.

GPU VRAM decides the resolution ceiling

The GeForce RTX 3050 comes with 8GB of GDDR6 video memory, which sets the practical limit for texture quality and resolution in modern games. If your target is 1080p high-refresh play, this VRAM amount is sufficient; if you plan to run 1440p ultra settings or use the card for GPU-accelerated creative workloads, the 8GB buffer will be the bottleneck.

Questions about this item

What case clearance does the 120 mm AIO liquid CPU cooler require?

The 120 mm AIO liquid CPU cooler fits standard mid-tower or full-tower cases with a 120 mm fan mount; verify your chassis has a rear or top 120 mm slot before ordering.

How do I seat the GeForce RTX 3050 and connect its power, and what step is often missed?

Insert the card into the primary PCIe x16 slot until the latch clicks, then attach the required 8-pin PCIe power connector from the 750 W supply; the missed step is forgetting that power cable.

When should I plan to replace the AIO liquid cooler or its fan?

Expect 3–5 years of service; replace the 120 mm fan if noise rises or coolant temps climb, and swap the whole AIO if pump noise appears or leaks develop.
