Velztorm Pilum Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm Pilum is a pre-built gaming desktop powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X eight-core processor and a GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card. It ships with 16GB of DDR4 memory, a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD and a 1TB hard drive. Windows 10 Pro is installed and a 750W power supply drives the components.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This system fits buyers who want a ready-to-play PC for 1080p gaming and general multitasking without assembling parts. It is not for buyers who need wireless connectivity, a newer processor generation or a graphics card with more video memory.

Deciding specification: RTX 3050 8GB GDDR6

The GeForce RTX 3050 with 8GB of GDDR6 memory determines the gaming tier this desktop reaches. It handles current titles at 1080p with playable frame rates but will limit higher resolutions or maximum texture settings.

Questions about this item

How is the 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler installed, and what step is often missed?

The cooler comes pre-assembled; mount the radiator to the case with the supplied screws, attach the pump block to the Ryzen 7 3700X using the AM4 bracket, then connect the pump header and fan cable to the motherboard — the step most people forget is plugging in the pump power so the liquid circulates.

What maintenance or replacement will the 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler need later?

AIO coolers are sealed units; after several years the coolant can degrade or the pump may wear, so the whole 120mm AIO should be replaced rather than refilled.

What limit appears first on the GeForce RTX 3050 during sustained gaming?

The 8GB GDDR6 frame buffer fills up before the GPU core hits its thermal ceiling, so texture-heavy scenes at higher resolutions will hit the memory limit first.
