Processor and graphics

This Velztorm Pilum desktop pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X eight-core processor with a GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card. The CPU runs at 3.60 GHz with a 4.4 GHz boost and 32 MB L3 cache. The GPU provides 8 GB GDDR6 memory on a PCIe 4.0 interface with DirectX 12 and G-SYNC support. A 750 W power supply and a 120 mm AIO liquid cooler keep the system stable.

Memory and storage

The build includes 32 GB DDR4 RAM and a dual-drive layout: a 1 TB SATA SSD plus a 3 TB 3.5-inch hard drive. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed. Connectivity covers Ethernet LAN, HDMI, DisplayPort, five USB 3.0 Type-A ports, one USB 3.1 Gen1 port, four USB 2.0 ports, and audio jacks. No wireless or Bluetooth hardware is fitted.

Storage interface constraint

The solid-state drive uses a SATA interface, so sequential transfer speeds will follow SATA limits rather than faster PCIe protocols. Buyers who need the higher throughput of a PCIe-attached drive should look at a different configuration. Builders who require onboard Wi-Fi or Bluetooth will also need another system.
