Desktop with Ryzen 7 3700X and RTX 3050

This Velztorm Pilum gaming desktop pairs an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor with a GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card. It ships with 32GB DDR4 memory and a dual-drive layout of 1TB SATA SSD plus 3TB HDD. A 750W power supply and 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler support the components. Windows 10 Home is pre-installed.

Suits 1080p gaming and multitasking.

The configuration handles mainstream titles at 1080p and everyday productivity workloads. Buyers who want more graphics memory for higher resolutions or ray-tracing headroom should look at something else. Systems without wireless networking need a separate adapter. The SSD uses the SATA interface rather than a faster protocol.

Deciding spec: RTX 3050 with 8GB GDDR6

The GeForce RTX 3050 provides 8GB GDDR6 video memory on a PCIe 4.0 link. That frame buffer size determines whether modern textures fit comfortably at your target resolution. If your games need more VRAM, this GPU will become the bottleneck before the CPU or system memory.

Questions about this item

What case clearance does the 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler need?

The 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler fits inside the desktop chassis; verify your case has a 120mm radiator mount and room for the pump block above the Ryzen 7 3700X socket.

Which power cables must be connected for the GeForce RTX 3050 during installation?

Seat the GeForce RTX 3050 in the primary PCIe x16 slot, then attach the required 8-pin PCIe power connector from the 750W supply before closing the case.

When should the thermal paste on the Ryzen 7 3700X be refreshed?

Reapply thermal paste on the Ryzen 7 3700X every two to three years or if CPU temperatures rise noticeably under load; the 120mm AIO block must be removed to do this.
