Operating System Windows 10 Home

  • 8-core Ryzen 7 3700X handles heavy multitasking with 16 threads
  • RTX 3050 8GB GDDR6 drives 1080p gaming at smooth frame rates
  • 64GB DDR4 keeps large projects and background apps responsive
  • 1TB PCIe SSD plus 2TB HDD gives fast boot and deep storage
  • 750W supply and 120mm AIO liquid cooler sustain stable performance under load

Built for 1080p gaming and multitasking

The Velztorm Pilum pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X with a GeForce RTX 3050, 64GB DDR4 and a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD plus 2TB HDD. It targets players who want smooth frame rates at 1080p and creators who need plenty of memory for simultaneous workloads.

PCIe 4.0 GPU interface limits bandwidth to x8

The RTX 3050 runs on a PCIe 4.0 x8 link, so peak throughput is half the full x16 ceiling. DirectX 12 and G-SYNC support are present, but the bus width caps maximum texture streaming speed in demanding titles.

120mm AIO cooler and 750W supply anchor the build

A 120mm liquid CPU cooler handles the 8-core processor thermals while the 750W unit feeds the GPU and all drives. Front-panel USB 3.1 Gen1, five USB 3.0 Type-A and four USB 2.0 ports give broad peripheral connectivity without needing a hub.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 64GB DDR4 option or the 128GB DDR4 option?

64GB DDR4 is plenty for current games and heavy multitasking; 128GB DDR4 only makes sense if you run virtual machines or large content-creation workloads.

What does the Ryzen 7 3700X 3.60GHz up to 4.4GHz figure mean for actual gameplay?

The 8-core, 16-thread CPU runs at 3.60GHz base and can boost to 4.4GHz, giving strong frame rates in modern titles when paired with the RTX 3050.

How fast is the PCIe 4.0 interface on the RTX 3050 in this build?

The RTX 3050 uses a PCIe 4.0 x8 link, so bandwidth caps at the Gen 4 x8 limit; the 1TB NVMe SSD also runs on PCIe 4.0 for fast load times.
