Built for 1440p gaming and multitasking

The Velztorm Pilum desktop pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-core processor with a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics card. Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR4 memory and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD plus 6TB hard drive give headroom for modern titles and heavy workloads. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed.

Stepping up from an 8GB GPU or 16GB RAM system

The 8GB GDDR6 frame buffer and PCIe 4.0 interface on the RTX 3060 Ti raise texture quality and frame rates at 1440p compared with 6GB or 8GB cards on older buses. Moving from 16GB to 32GB DDR4 removes stutter in memory-hungry games and creative apps. The 750W supply supports the full load.

Check case clearance and monitor inputs

The chassis measures 8.65 x 17 x 19.4 inches and weighs 22.25lb, so confirm desk or shelf space before ordering. Video output is one HDMI and one DisplayPort; adapters are needed for DVI or VGA displays. No Wi-Fi or Bluetooth hardware is included, so plan for wired Ethernet or a separate wireless card.

Questions about this item

What case clearance does the 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler need?

The cooler fits inside the 8.65 IN wide by 17 IN deep by 19.4 IN high chassis with the 750W power supply already installed.

Which power cables must be connected to the RTX 3060 Ti before first boot?

Seat the card in the PCIe 4.0 slot then attach the required 8-pin PCIe power connectors from the 750W unit; the step often missed is forgetting the second 8-pin if the model uses dual plugs.

How do I add more DDR4 memory later?

The board accepts DDR4 DIMMs up to 32GB per slot; open the side panel, release the retention clips, insert the new modules until they click, then close the case.
