Ready-to-game desktop for high-refresh 1440p

This Velztorm Septex system arrives assembled with Windows 11 Pro installed. The eight-core Ryzen 7 7700X and GeForce RTX 3070 8 GB GDDR6 combination targets gamers and streamers who want strong frame rates at 1440p without building from parts. A 1000 W power supply provides headroom for the configured components.

Liquid-cooled chassis with front-panel USB-C

A 360 mm AIO cooler with RGB lighting keeps the 7700X at 4.5 GHz base and up to 5.4 GHz boost under load. The black case offers two USB 3.0 Type-A, four USB 2.0, one HDMI, one DisplayPort, two USB-C ports (3.1 and 3.2 Gen 1), plus separate microphone and headphone jacks for quick peripheral access. Wired Ethernet, WiFi 6 MT7921 and Bluetooth 5.2 handle networking.

128 GB DDR5 and 2 TB PCIe NVMe SSD

The platform ships with 128 GB of DDR5 memory and a 2 TB PCIe NVMe solid-state drive. That capacity suits creators who run virtual machines, large texture packs or heavy multitasking workloads. Buyers who need more than 2 TB of fast storage or who require ECC memory should look at workstation-class configurations.

Questions about this item

Does the GeForce RTX 3070 8GB PCIe 4.0 card cap bandwidth on this motherboard?

The graphics card runs on a PCIe 4.0 x16 link, so the 4.0 interface sets the practical bandwidth ceiling for the RTX 3070.

What case clearance does the 360 mm AIO liquid cooler require?

The RGB 360 mm AIO cooler fits the Septex chassis as configured; the radiator and fans are pre-mounted at the factory.

How is the 128 GB DDR5 memory installed, and what step is often missed?

The 128 GB DDR5 DIMM kit is pre-installed in the correct slots; the step users sometimes miss is enabling the memory profile in BIOS to reach rated speed.
