Velztorm Septex CTO Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm Septex CTO Gaming Desktop arrives as a new, pre-assembled system built around an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 7700X processor and a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics card with 8GB GDDR6 memory. It targets gamers and content creators who want a ready-to-run Windows 11 Home machine with 64GB DDR5 memory and a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD. The black chassis includes a 360mm AIO liquid CPU cooler with RGB lighting and a 1000W power supply.

Thermals noise and power draw

A 360mm AIO liquid CPU cooler handles heat from the Ryzen 7 7700X while the 1000W power supply delivers headroom for the RTX 3060 Ti and other components. WiFi 6 MT7921 and Bluetooth 5.2 provide wireless connectivity without extra antennas. The system ships with Windows 11 Home installed and includes HDMI, DisplayPort, USB 3.2 Type-C Gen1, USB 3.1 Type-C Gen1, USB 3.0 Type-A and USB 2.0 ports for peripherals.

Sustained load behaviour

Under extended gaming or rendering sessions the liquid cooler maintains stable CPU temperatures while the RTX 3060 Ti operates within its thermal envelope supported by the 1000W unit. The 64GB DDR5 configuration and 1TB NVMe SSD keep data throughput high for multitasking and large project files. Buyers who need additional internal storage bays or a second graphics card should verify case capacity before purchase.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 360 mm AIO liquid cooler and what step is often missed?

Mount the radiator to the case with the supplied brackets, connect the pump header to the CPU_FAN socket, then attach the three fan cables to the same header or a splitter so the pump and fans share one control curve.

What maintenance will the 360 mm AIO liquid cooler and 1000 W power supply need later?

Clean radiator fins and fan blades periodically; the sealed loop has no user‑serviceable coolant, and the PSU only requires dust removal from its intake grill.

Which limit appears first during sustained loads on the Ryzen 7 7700X with the 360 mm AIO?

The CPU will hit its 5.4 GHz boost ceiling and throttle to maintain thermal limits before the 1000 W PSU or RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB GDDR6 become bottlenecks.
