Velztorm Septex AMD Ryzen 7 7700X Desktop

This Velztorm Septex desktop is built around an AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 8-core processor and a GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card with 8GB GDDR6 memory. It ships with 64GB DDR5 memory and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD. The system includes a 360mm AIO liquid cooler with RGB lighting and a 1000W power supply. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed for immediate use.

Installation and common issues

The computer arrives fully assembled with all upgrades installed and tested by the supplier's technicians. No internal hardware installation is required from the buyer. Ensure the 360mm radiator has adequate mounting space in the chosen location if the case is ever changed. WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 drivers are included with Windows 10 Pro.

Connectivity and storage limits

The system provides 2 USB 3.0 Type-A ports, 4 USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.1 Type-C Gen1 port and one USB 3.2 Type-C Gen1 port. Video output uses one HDMI and one DisplayPort connector on the graphics card. Wired networking uses a single RJ-45 Ethernet port. The 2TB NVMe SSD is the only internal storage device installed.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the Ryzen 7 7700X is hitting its 5.4GHz boost after setup?

Open Task Manager or a hardware monitor and watch the CPU frequency under load; the 8-core 7700X should show speeds up to 5.4GHz when thermals allow.

What comes in the box and what must I add to start gaming?

The desktop includes the 1000W PSU, 360mm AIO cooler, 64GB DDR5, 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD, RTX 3070 8GB GDDR6, WiFi 6 MT7921, Bluetooth 5.2 and Windows 10 Pro; you only need a monitor, keyboard and mouse.

Which configuration suits 1440p high-refresh gaming versus 4K workloads?

The single RTX 3070 8GB GDDR6 with 64GB DDR5 and 2TB NVMe storage is built for 1440p high-refresh gaming; 4K workloads would need a higher-tier GPU not offered in this model.
