Velztorm Tentorix Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm Tentorix is a pre-built gaming desktop featuring an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D processor with 96MB L3 cache and 8 cores. It pairs that CPU with a GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card holding 8GB of GDDR6 memory. The system ships with 16GB of DDR4 RAM and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD. Windows 11 Pro is installed and a 750W power supply is fitted.

Compatibility checklist

Verify that your display provides an HDMI or DisplayPort input to match the graphics card outputs. Ensure your network environment supports 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi or wired Ethernet for connectivity. Confirm the 750W power supply meets the demands of any additional components you may install later. The chassis uses a 240mm AIO liquid cooler, so check that your intended location allows adequate airflow for the radiator.

Included accessories and software

The package includes a USB 3.2 Type-C Gen2 port alongside four USB 3.2 Gen1 ports and a USB 3.0 Type-A port for peripheral connections. A headphone and microphone combo jack is provided for audio. RGB lighting on the AIO cooler adds visual customisation. Windows 11 Pro delivers the operating environment with professional features enabled out of the box.

Questions about this item

Does the Velztorm Tentorix come with a monitor or do I need to buy one separately?

The system ships without a monitor. You will need to connect your own display using the HDMI or DisplayPort outputs on the GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card.

Should I choose the 16GB DDR4 configuration or upgrade to 32GB for the Ryzen 7 5800X3D?

The 16GB DDR4 baseline handles current games well. Stepping up to 32GB gives extra headroom for streaming, heavy multitasking or future titles that demand more memory bandwidth.

What does the 96MB L3 cache on the Ryzen 7 5800X3D actually do for gaming frame rates?

The large 96MB L3 cache reduces latency-sensitive memory trips, so the 8-core processor keeps frame rates higher and more consistent in cache-heavy games at 1080p and 1440p.
