Velztorm Tentorix Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm Tentorix is a pre-built gaming desktop powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D 8-core processor with 96MB L3 cache and a Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card with 16GB GDDR6 memory. It includes 16GB DDR4 system memory, a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD, and a 240mm AIO liquid cooler powered by a 750W supply. Windows 11 Home is installed.

Suits 1440p and 4K gaming.

This system suits players targeting high frame rates at 1440p or 4K resolution with the 16GB GPU frame buffer and 3D V-Cache CPU. Builders who need more than 16GB system memory for content creation or virtualisation should look at the 32GB, 64GB or 128GB DDR4 configurations offered for this platform. The single 2TB SSD may also limit users with large multi-game libraries.

96MB L3 cache on the Ryzen 7 5800X3D

The processor's 96MB L3 cache is the defining specification for gaming performance, reducing latency in cache-sensitive titles compared to standard 5000 series CPUs. This cache size paired with 8 cores and 16 threads at up to 4.5 GHz determines whether the platform matches your performance targets.

Questions about this item

Should I pick 16GB, 32GB, 64GB or 128GB of DDR4 for this build?

16GB handles current games well; 32GB adds headroom for streaming or heavy multitasking; 64GB and 128GB suit content-creation workloads that exceed typical gaming needs.

What does the 96MB L3 cache on the Ryzen 7 5800X3D actually do in games?

The large cache keeps more game data on-die, reducing memory latency and lifting minimum frame rates in cache-sensitive titles at 1080p and 1440p.

Which display outputs does the Radeon RX 6900 XT provide and what resolution ceiling do they support?

The card offers one HDMI and one DisplayPort, driving up to 4K at high refresh rates; the front-panel USB 3.2 Type-C Gen2 is for data only, not video.
