Vertix Mini Tower Gaming PC

The Velztorm Vertix is a compact gaming desktop built around an 8-core Ryzen 7 5800X processor and an RTX 3070 graphics card with 8GB GDDR6 memory. It ships with 32GB DDR4 RAM and a 2TB SATA SSD, running Windows 10 Pro for immediate play.

Upgrading from integrated or entry graphics

This system replaces a PC that relies on integrated graphics or an older discrete card without DirectX 12 Ultimate support. The jump is worth it when you need 1440p frame rates in current titles or VR-ready performance that the older GPU cannot deliver.

SATA SSD and PCIe 4.0 GPU limits

The 2TB boot drive uses the SATA interface, so sequential speeds are capped by that standard rather than by the faster PCIe bus. The RTX 3070 connects through PCIe 4.0, but if the motherboard chipset only provides PCIe 3.0 lanes the card will still operate at reduced bandwidth.

Questions about this item

What clearance does the mini-tower chassis need for the 120 mm AIO liquid CPU cooler?

The 120 mm AIO liquid CPU cooler fits inside the mini-tower case, so only standard mini-tower clearance is required; no extra radiator space is needed.

Which steps are required to seat the Ryzen 7 5800X and RTX 3070 during initial setup, and where do builders commonly err?

The CPU and GPU come pre-installed; the only user step is connecting the display to the RTX 3070 HDMI or DisplayPort — plugging into the motherboard video port is the common mistake.

When will the 750 W power supply or the 120 mm AIO cooler typically need replacement?

The 750 W power supply and 120 mm AIO liquid cooler are rated for several years of gaming loads; plan to inspect the AIO pump and PSU fan around the five-year mark.
