Ventev T58140P10006O 5 GHz Directional Antenna

The Ventev T58140P10006O is a 5 GHz directional antenna delivering 14 dBi gain across the 5150 to 5850 MHz band. It is built for outdoor bridging and back-haul links in warehouse, manufacturing and similar environments where moisture, wind, sun and dust are present.

Check RF connectors and mounting options

Verify that your access point or radio provides N Female connectors to match the antenna's two N Jacks. Confirm the adjustable pole mount suits your mast or wall structure and that the operating frequency range aligns with your 802.11 ac Wave I or II equipment.

Upgrades from lower-gain or omnidirectional antennas

Replacing a lower-gain or omnidirectional antenna with this 14 dBi sector model concentrates signal into a narrow beam, increasing link distance and capacity for point-to-point or point-to-multipoint back-haul. The jump is worth it when you need focused coverage and high throughput in a defined sector.

Questions about this item

Does the Ventev T58140P10006O come with the mounting hardware or do I need to buy a bracket separately?

A strong adjustable mount with mounting hardware is included for adjustable mast and wall mounting.

Should I choose the 14 dBi version or a different gain for a 5150 to 5850 MHz outdoor bridge?

The 14 dBi gain with narrow beamwidths and dual polarisation is designed for 5 GHz outdoor bridging and back-haul applications.

What does the 14 dBi gain mean when the antenna is connected to an 802.11 ac access point?

It provides high gain and very narrow beamwidths on both vertical and horizontal polarisation to deliver high capacity connectivity over long distances.
