Ultra-Wide 11mm f/4.5 RF Lens

This Venus Laowa 11mm f/4.5 FF RL lens mounts natively on Canon RF full-frame mirrorless bodies. It delivers an expansive 126° angle of view for landscapes, architecture and interiors. The optical design uses 14 elements in 10 groups including two aspherical and three extra-low dispersion elements. Close focus reaches 19 cm for wide-angle macro perspectives.

Landscape and Architecture Shooters

Photographers who need an ultra-wide rectilinear perspective with minimal distortion will benefit from the 126° coverage and close-focusing ability. The bundle adds a Hoya NXT Plus 62mm UV filter, cleaning kit and microfiber cloth for immediate protection and maintenance. Buyers who require autofocus, electronic aperture control or weather sealing should consider alternatives.

126° Angle of View on Full Frame

The defining specification is the 126-degree diagonal angle of view on a full-frame sensor. This determines whether the lens covers the desired field for expansive scenes or tight interiors. The fixed f/4.5 aperture and five-blade diaphragm produce 10-point sunstars when stopped down. Focus and aperture are operated manually via dedicated rings.

How do I mount this lens on my Canon RF camera and what step is often missed?

Align the red mounting dot on the lens barrel with the dot on the camera mount, rotate clockwise until it clicks, then remember to set the camera to 'Release shutter without lens' in the menu because this is a fully manual lens with no electronic contacts.
