Ultra-wide 113° rectilinear prime for Micro Four Thirds, f/2.8 aperture, near-zero distortion, 15 elements in 10 groups, 215 g weight
The Laowa 9mm f/2.8 Zero-D is a rectilinear prime lens for Micro Four Thirds cameras. It delivers a 113-degree angle of view with a 35mm equivalent focal length of approximately 13mm. The optical design uses 15 elements in 10 groups including two aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements to control distortion and colour fringing. A constant f/2.8 aperture supports low-light and astrophotography work.
Photographers needing an expansive, distortion-free field of view for interiors, architecture or night skies will benefit from the wide angle and fast aperture. The compact 53mm length and 215g weight suit travel and gimbal use where space is limited. Shooters who require autofocus, electronic aperture control or weather sealing should consider other options as this lens is fully manual and lacks environmental protection.
The defining specification is the Zero-D design that keeps rectilinear distortion close to zero across the 113-degree field. This allows straight architectural lines to remain straight without heavy post-processing correction. The 15-element construction with specialised glass types achieves this while maintaining a filter thread diameter of 43mm for creative filter use.

The lens uses the Micro Four Thirds mount, so it attaches directly to any Micro Four Thirds camera body without an adapter.
