Creative Perspective Tool

The Venus Laowa FF 8-15mm f/2.8 Fisheye Lens is built for Fujifilm GFX photographers and content creators who need a dual fisheye effect with versatile zoom. It delivers a 180 degree angle of view at 8mm for immersive landscapes, action sports and 360 degree panoramas.

Constant f/2.8 Aperture

The fast f/2.8 maximum aperture stays constant throughout the 8-15mm zoom range, providing reliable low-light performance and consistent exposure control. This single specification determines whether the lens suits demanding creative work in challenging lighting conditions.

13 Elements in 9 Groups

The optical construction handles expansive fields and close focusing distances with corrected clarity across the frame. At 15mm the image circle may not fully cover the GFX sensor, so buyers needing full-frame corner-to-corner coverage at the long end should verify compatibility.

Questions about this item

How wide is the 180-degree angle of view when I shoot at 8mm on a full-frame camera?

At the 8mm setting the lens projects a circular fisheye image that covers a full 180-degree diagonal field of view on a full-frame sensor.

Does the constant f/2.8 aperture stay at f/2.8 throughout the 8-15mm zoom range?

Yes, the maximum aperture remains f/2.8 from 8mm to 15mm, so exposure does not change while zooming.
