VERACITY

VERACITY TIMENET Pro GPS Master NTP Time Server VTNTNPRO

SKU CH-7Q1Q-75DSK

A compact GPS master NTP server with included antenna synchronises network devices using atomic-clock accuracy over PoE or 12 V DC

  • GPS-synchronised atomic time accuracy for reliable network-wide clock alignment
  • Class 1 PoE or 12 V DC power simplifies installation across diverse sites
  • Browser-based setup enables rapid deployment without specialist software
  • Wide operating temperature range supports mobile, vehicle and outdoor deployments
  • NTP master reference secures evidential-grade timestamps for CCTV and DVR systems

What the VTNTNPRO is and who it serves

The VERACITY TIMENET Pro VTNTNPRO is a compact Master NTP time server that delivers an atomic-clock reference to Ethernet networks. It targets installers who need precise time-stamps for CCTV, DVR, VMS or access-control systems without running a dedicated time infrastructure.

Suitable applications and limits

The unit suits secure or closed networks, mobile and vehicle deployments, and any NTP-compatible client that must stay synchronised for evidential recording. It does not serve buyers who require a local oscillator holdover function, built-in display, or redundant power inputs beyond the single Class 1 PoE or 12 V DC feed.

The specification that decides fit

The decisive factor is the single Ethernet port that provides both NTP service and Class 1 PoE power, so the host switch must supply PoE or a 12 V DC source must be available at the mounting location.

Questions about this item

Does the 12 V DC input or Class 1 PoE supply need any periodic maintenance or replacement?

The unit draws power from a 12 V DC source or Class 1 PoE; no user-serviceable power components are described, so no scheduled replacement is indicated.

What is the first limit reached during continuous operation, the wide operating temperature range or the Class 1 PoE power budget?

The specifications list a wide operating temperature range and Class 1 PoE compatibility; whichever threshold is met first in a given installation will be the limiting factor.

How much audible noise does the fanless enclosure generate when the server runs all day?

No fan or moving parts are mentioned, so the device operates silently under continuous load.
