A 1TB 2.5" SATA internal SSD with 3D NAND reaching 520 MBps read and 500 MBps write
The VERBATIM Vi550 provides one terabyte of solid-state storage in a standard 2.5-inch form factor. It connects through the SATA III interface and uses 3D NAND components. The drive is built for consumer desktops and laptops that need a simple storage upgrade.
This SSD suits any system with a 2.5-inch SATA drive bay and a SATA III controller, including legacy laptops and budget desktops. It will not fit M.2 slots or work with PCIe-only motherboards, so buyers without a free SATA port should consider a different form factor.
The published maximum sequential read speed is 520 MBps, with sequential write up to 500 MBps. If the workload demands substantially higher throughput than these figures, a PCIe-based drive would be required instead.

Yes, the drive fits a standard 2.5 inch bay and connects with a regular SATA data cable plus a SATA power connector from your power supply.
The drive is backward compatible with SATA II ports, so it will work but sequential read and write speeds will be lower than the rated 520 MBps read and 500 MBps write.
Run a sequential read-write benchmark such as CrystalDiskMark; you should see speeds close to 520 MBps read and 500 MBps write on a SATA III port, and the drive should appear as a 1TB SATA SSD in your OS.
