Verilux 100ft 5050 RGB LED Strip

The Verilux 100ft 5050 RGB LED strip light provides 150 individual LEDs along a 30.48 metre reel. It operates on 12 volts and is rated for indoor use only. Control is handled via the included 44-button remote or the MohuLED mobile app, offering 16 million colours and 29 dynamic modes. A built-in microphone enables music synchronisation for parties or ambient lighting.

Suits renters and DIY decorators wanting flexible

This strip suits anyone wanting app and remote control with music sync for bedrooms, dorms or living rooms. The adhesive backing works on dry, flat surfaces and the strip can be cut between LEDs to fit custom lengths. Buyers needing outdoor-rated or waterproof lighting should look elsewhere, as the specifications list indoor use only. The 12V requirement also means a compatible power supply must be sourced separately.

150 LEDs across 100ft with 100000h rated lifespan

The 5050 LED package delivers adjustable brightness across static, strobe, transition and gradient modes for accent lighting. Headroom is sufficient for ceiling runs, TV backlighting or cabinet highlights in typical rooms. The 100ft length covers large perimeters, but very long single runs may show voltage drop at the far end. The 0.50926782522 lb weight keeps mounting stress low on painted walls.

Questions about this item

What power supply voltage does the 100ft 5050 RGB LED strip require?

The strip operates on a 12 volt power supply, which must be sourced separately if not included in the kit.

Can the 100ft strip be shortened to fit a smaller run alongside an existing 12V LED installation?

Yes, the strip can be cut between the 150 individual LEDs to adjust the length, and the remaining sections will work on the same 12 volt circuit.

How do I verify the music-sync feature is responding correctly after pairing the app?

Play audio near the built-in microphone; the 29 dynamic modes should shift colour and brightness in time with the sound frequency.
